About Our Practice

Solar Claim operates as a specialist pension claims consultancy, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We've been helping UK pension holders since 2018, focusing exclusively on claims arising from mis-sold pensions, unsuitable advice, and pension scheme failures.

Unlike generalist claims management companies, our entire team possesses specific expertise in pensions regulation, ombudsman procedures, and financial services complaints. This specialisation means we understand the nuances that can make or break a case.

We maintain offices in Birmingham and Edinburgh but work with clients throughout England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Most of our casework is conducted remotely, though in-person consultations can be arranged if preferred.

Before You Contact Us

It's helpful if you can provide: a brief description of your pension situation, when you received advice or made transfers, the name of the advisor or company involved, and an estimate of any losses you've suffered. However, if you don't have all these details, don't let that stop you contacting us. We can work with whatever information you have.

No. We offer free initial assessments to determine whether you have a potential claim. There's no obligation to proceed, and we won't pressure you. If we believe you have a viable case, we'll explain how we work and what it would cost.

We aim to respond to all enquiries within one working day. During particularly busy periods this might extend to two days, but we'll always get back to you. If your matter is urgent, mention this in your email and we'll prioritise accordingly.

We operate by appointment only to ensure we can give you proper attention. Walk-ins aren't practical as our specialists are often out of the office or in meetings. However, we can usually arrange an appointment within a few days of your initial contact.

Absolutely. The majority of our clients never visit our offices. We conduct consultations by phone or video call and handle everything electronically. As long as your pension issue falls under UK jurisdiction, we can assist regardless of where you live.
